The insertion procedure

Updated: May 1, 2019

So you've purchased a scribe. Congratulations! Now, all that's left is to get it inserted. Please remember that the procedure must be done with one of our registered technicians. Here's what to expect at your appointment.

It's important not to eat or drink for 48 hours before the procedure. This is because connectivity to the neurons is facilitated by the slowing of thoughts that occurs in starvation mode.

You may elect to be put to sleep for the procedure, but most customers find that local anesthesia is enough.

There will be some pressure near your temple followed by a deep headache that will last for a few days. Our devices are inserted in a fashion similar to a tragus piercing, pictured below:

But after that, you're all done! And you're on your way to be a stylish, thoughtful, and more productive person.
